My approach is client-centered, compassion-focused and strengths-based. I'm honored to partner with clients to support them as they identify their strengths and find their inner wisdom to change behaviors, patterns, and dynamics that are no longer effective for them so that they can live their best lives.
As a counselor, I collaborate with clients, drawing upon modalities that help heal the cognitive, emotional and somatic aspects of trauma and symptoms of anxiety and depression. These approaches might include mindful self-compassion, internal family systems (IFS), somatic approaches, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) , and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) as well as psychodynamic approaches. I have experience working with gender identity, disordered eating, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and complex trauma.
